This facilities competition pool is a 10 lane, 25-yard pool with Colorado Timing System and scoreboard. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The certification is on file with USA Swimming, Inc., and Georgia Swimming, Inc. The pool depth at the start end equals 7-9 ft and turn end depth equals 7-9 ft. Warm-up lanes will be available.

Session 1: Open                         Warm up:  4:30 pm, Start: 5:45 pm

Session 2: 12 & Over (Prelims)  Warm up:  7:00 am, Start: 8:30 am

Session 3: 11 & Under (Prelims) Warm up Not Before: 11:00 pm, Start Not Before: 12:00 pm

Session 4: 10 & Over (Finals)    Warm up Not Before:  4:00 pm, Start Not Before: 5:00 pm

Session 5: 12 & Over (Prelims)  Warm up:  7:00 am, Start: 8:30 am

Session 6: 11 & Under (Prelims) Warm up Not Before: 11:00 pm, Start Not Before: 12:00 pm

Session 7: 10 & Over (Finals)    Warm up Not Before:  4:00 pm, Start Not Before: 5:00 pm

MEET FORMAT:

  • All events will be in Short Course Yards
  • This will be Prelims/Finals Format for 10 & Over
  • This will be Timed Finals Format for 9 & Under
  • Session 1 (Friday) will be Time Final Format (TF)
  • 8 Lanes will be used for Competition
  • We reserve the right to run individual time trial events at the start or close of each session

ENTRY FEES:

  • IND. EVENT FEE:  $8.50
  • LATE IND. ENTRIES: $17 / Event
  • TIME TRIALS:   $17.00 / EVENT
  • $2.00 Ga travel surcharge applies to all non-Georgia LSC registered swimmers.

ELIGIBILITY:

Invitational - to USA-registered swimmers and teams. ASL will not allow unregistered swimmers, coaches, officials, or teams to participate in this meet. No swimmer will be permitted to compete unless the swimmer is a member in as provided in Article 302.

ENTRIES:

Swimmers may swim a maximum of 3 (three) individual events per day.

Time Trial events will count towards the daily athlete entry limit

CHECK IN

CLERK of COURSE

Deck entries can be made with the Clerk of Course up to 30 minutes before the start of the session. Late entries will be permitted only if open lanes are available. No additional heats will be created in pre-seeded events.

The 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free and 400 Individual Medley are positive check in events and will be deck seeded. Swimmers who register for these events yet do not positively check in during the stated clerk of course hours will be assumed to be not competing and will not be seeded into them. If a limit of swimmers is set by the meet referee for these events, any swimmer originally entered who is not allowed to be seeded shall have his entry fees returned in full or will be allowed to switch to another event on a lane-available basis.
Note that only swimmers and team coaches may perform the positive check in.

The following events will be swum fast-to-slow: Open 1000 Free & 1650 Free.

The following events will be Timed Finals: 9 & Under 500 Free, Open 1000 Free, 9 &
Under 200 IM, Open 1650 Free

All 9 & Under events are Timed Finals in Sessions: 1, 3, & 5

The 10 – 11-year-old 400 IM and 10 – 11-year-old 500 Free will be swum as timed finals in the prelim’s session.

All preliminary events will be swum slow-to-fast.

Final events listed as 12 & Over will include:

  1. 3 Heats of 14 & Over (Top 24 swimmers)
  2. 1 Heat of 12 – 13-year old’s (Top 8 swimmers)

Finals will also include: 1 Heat of 10 – 11-year-olds (Top 8 swimmers)

All finals events for the 14 & Overs will be swum fast-to-slow (“A” then “B” heat then “C” heat of each event)

Meet management also reserves the right to combine events as needed and the right to limit the number of heats in any event 400 yards or longer in both Prelims and Finals. As well as the right to limit overall entries in order to maintain reasonable and allowable timelines.

Meet management also reserves the right to use fly-over starts in order to maintain reasonable and allowable timelines.

Meet management also reserves the right to use two competition pools (North pool & South pool) to maintain reasonable and allowable timelines during the prelim’s sessions.

 

ENTRY SUBMISSION:

ENTRY DEADLINE:  January 3, 2022   Time: 9:00 pm

Submit entries using Hy-Tek team manager. Entries must include the USA Swimming Club Code and each swimmer’s USA Swimming number, first and last name, age, and seeding time for each event entered.
