GMNY Holiday Mini-Meet

Description

Saturday - Session 1 - ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 1:30pm
Sunday - Session 2 (8&Unders) - ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 8:00am
Sunday - Session 3 - ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 11:45am

Meet Location: Red Bank YMCA | 166 Maple Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701

Spectators: 1 spectator per swimmer (volunteers are not counted as spectators) will be permitted at this meet, with swimmer/spectator names checked at the time of admission. All spectators, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask. Limited seating will be available on deck and behind the glass in the viewing area. Spectators will not be allowed in the gym with swimmers.

A live feed of the meet will also be available. The link will be emailed as I do not have it yet.

Concessions & Merchandise: Limited snacks and refreshments will be sold at this meet. Sport Spot will be set up in the gym to purchase swimming gear/apparel.

Volunteers and Spectator Parking & Sign In Volunteers and spectators will park and enter through the front doors and sign in at the lobby.

Holiday Mini Meet sweatshirts will also be sold in the lobby area for $30 (cash or Venmo accepted). Quantities will be limited - see attached photo for a preview! A limited number of red long-sleeved youth t-shirts will also be for sale for $20. I will post the pictures in our facebook group because they are too large in size.

Swimmer Supplies Swimmers should arrive wearing their team suit. Swimmers will be permitted to use the locker rooms after the meet to change into dry clothes.  

Swimmers will be set up in the gym and should bring the following items to the meet:

  • Mask labeled with swimmer’s name - swimmers are required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status
  • A chair/blanket/extra towels and warm clothes to wear in between events
  • Snacks (preferably nut free) and water - your swimmer is responsible for keeping their area clean and disposing of all garbage

Swimmer Drop-Off and Pick-Up Volunteers will greet swimmers at the front door and escort them to the gym. When your swimmer is finished, they will be escorted to the lobby where they will wait for parent pickup.
