2021 USRP Racers November Thankswimming Meet

TYPE OF MEET: Short Course, 25 yd. Timed Finals
Fly-over starts will be used at this competition.
DATES & TIMES: Sunday, November 21st, 2021. 9:00 AM start time
Sunday No earlier than 12:00 PM for the afternoon
session on Sunday. (Guarantee of 30 min warm-up)
LOCATION: Cypress Aquatic Center, 981 George Ingram, Daytona, FL
WARM-UP: 7:30 AM Sunday. Sunday 2nd session will have 30 min.
ENTRY LIMIT: 4 per session and up to six (6) per day.
AWARDS: Individual Events:
1st – 8th Ribbons for all individual events.
Many events are combined age groups but will awarded
Based on age groups: 6&under, 7-8, 9-10,11-12.
No Ribbons for “Open” events.
CAMERA ZONE: Per Florida Swimming Rule 223.12, Meet management shall designate and inform the public of "Camera Zone" at each swim meet where both still photography and video photography of a race or a race competitor in a race may be taken. Under NO circumstances will Camera Zones include the area immediately behind the starting blocks at either end of the racing course while they are in use for "race starting purposes" during competition and warm-ups, locker rooms, restrooms, or any other dressing area. Any individual failing to abide by this rule could be subject to the Florida Swimming Code of Conduct violation as defined in Rule 239.2
HEAT SHEETS: Heat sheets will be posted on www.floridaswimming.org, and e-mailed to all competing teams' contact person no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the meet. These are to be printed and brought to the meet. Heat sheets will also be available at the meet for $2.
ADAPTED SWIMMERS: Swimmers with disabilities are welcome to enter the meet. Coaches: 1. Enter the swimmers on Hy-Tek, OME (or other entry program) or the paper entry form; 2. Provide advance notice of any necessary accommodations to the Meet Referee (Swimmer has his/her own auxiliary starting strobe.); 3. List in the email with the entries (or on paper) the swimmer’s name, entry times, event number, strokes/distance, days/sessions, and how the swimmer prefers to be seeded (i.e., sight impaired athletes close to the strobe, hearing impaired close to a speaker or the Starter, etc.). Swimmers with disability will be seeded with their same age grouping. For more information, please contact the Meet Referee.
