One of the questions we've heard is why aren't we going to NASA Blast Off?
Well...it's a big answer!

1) The Blast Off only allows athletes to swim events they have B standards or faster in. The coaching staff wanted a meet with the ability to have the whole team participate, especially going into the holidays.
2) Usually we attend the Hornet Candy Cane on the second weekend of December. This year, they are not hosting the meet, so we would not have an option for our non-B standard athletes in December.
3) They're allowing spectators at the COHO meet, but they aren't at NASA. And with the holidays, we'd like our families to watch kids swim.
4) We have higher competition opportunities for the rest of the competitive calendar. Athletes who have B-Standards will be able to have a higher level of competition available at the PAC meet in January and athletes without B-Standards will have our Build the Base meet.  Hopefully, more athletes will qualify for the PAC meet at COHO!
