Facility Information (Updated)

Only athletes, coaches, officials and meet volunteers will be allowed on deck during the meet.

Spectators will not be allowed on the pool deck but will be able to view the meet from the patio area on the second floor of the Walton Aquatic Center. Please respect the “No Spectator” zones on the observation deck. EAJ will stop the meet if parents are behind the blocks or on the pool deck.

Protocols for masks have changed as they are now optional but recommended indoors. Marks are not required on the pool deck.

Swimmers will have access to the locker rooms throughout the competition.

Teams may set up tents on the bleachers in the pool area for their athletes. Make sure to secure all tents so they do not blow away. No tents will be allowed in front of the scoreboard.

There will be no concessions at the meet.

Team Seating

We will establish a Loggerhead team seating area on deck. Please arrive early to claim LA real estate. Bleacher seating will be limited so please be sure to bring fold out chairs to ensure your athlete has somewhere to rest in between races. Swimmers are expected to sit in the team area with their teammates during the competition. Cheer for your teammates, have fun, swim fast!

Notes

We ask that all swimmers be on time for warm up. Please arrive to the venue before the posted warm up time.

Swimmers should see their group coach about 10 minutes before their event and then see them immediately after they swim.

The heat sheet and timeline are posted below. Please print your heat sheets at home.

Swimmers competing in the 500 freestyle need to be prepared to provide their own timer and lap counter. 12 & Under swimmers racing in the 500 freestyle need to arrive at 11:30AM for warm up. Check in with your group coach when you arrive.

Be sure to pack plenty of fluids and nutrition for all sessions.

Highs this weekend will be in the upper 60’s and lows will be in the upper 40’s. Please be sure to come prepared with warm clothes, especially for the morning session. Bring plenty of layers, closed toe shoes, and extra towels.
