This meet has minimum qualifying standards.  If a swimmer does not meet the standards, the CHAT BC meets are available for signup.  If you are confused about which meet is best for you/your swimmer, please talk with the coaches.

Spectators will not be allowed inside the competition area (see the attached map).

Warm-up for the 1500's on Wednesday will be at 5:00 p.m. with the meet beginning at 5:45 p.m. This event is POSITIVE check in, which will close at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. A positive check in is required for the 400 IM (Thursday) and the 400 Free (Friday) events, which will close at 9:30 a.m. on their respective days. Swimmers failing to check in by the designated time for these events will not be allowed to swim that event. Events 1 and 3 will be seeded and swum combined. Events 2 and 4 will be seeded and swum combined. The 1500 free will be swum fastest to slowest, alternating girls and boys, until all participants who have checked in have competed. The 400 IM and the 400 Free will be swum fastest to slowest, beginning with the slowest circle seeded heat followed by the fastest circle seeded heat. The remaining heats will be swum fastest to slowest.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: Warmup for prelims is at 7am, and the meet begins at 8:00 a.m. Finals warm up will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the meet starting at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday-Saturday: This meet will be prelims and finals. There will be a championship and consolation heat in finals for 11-12, 13-14, and 15-over age groups.  For 10 and unders, there is only a championship final.

Utah Swimming Championship Scratch procedure will be in effect: If you qualify for finals, you are expected to swim.  If you cannot swim, you must discuss this with your coach and scratch within 30 minutes of finalists being annouced.  If you fail to do this, you will be penalized by the meet director by being scratched from your next event.  If you fail to show up for finals on the last day of the meet, the team will be fined $50 per occurrence.  Please do not let this happen.

Swimmers must also supply their own counters for the 1500 free. This should be a teammate.

Please read and familiarize yourself with the sanction. It is the swimmer's responsibility to show up for the correct session and complete positive checkin as appropriate.

This meet will fill quickly.  Please note entry deadlines.  No late entries will be considered.

**Entry time format is set by the host team.  At this meet, a swimmer's fastest converted time will be used if it is faster than his fastest LCM time.  Because of this, entry times may look "too fast", but this is not changeable.  Thank you for understanding.
