SAY Annual Team Pasta Party & Cake Walk

Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School Cafeteria
  • Event is for swimmers only.   Please RSVP by January 29th to attend.  Please fill in one sign up slot per swimmer so we have an accurate headcount for the caterer.
  • Cost is covered by swim team fees.
  • Parents may volunteer to help serve and clean up.
  • Volunteers are also needed to provide dessert for Pasta Dinner Dessert as well as bake cakes for the Cake Walk to benefit the National Team.
  • Send your swimmer with cash to participate in Cake Walk ($2 per round), small bills requested. 
  • Masks are required in the school while not actively eating or drinking.
  • Seniors will have practice from 4:30-6:00pm
The Cake Walk is a fun musical numbers game.  Each round swimmers pay $2 to participate and walk around in a circle on a designated set of numbers until the music stops. Think musical chairs. A number is pulled and whoever is standing on that number wins a cake.  Cakes are baked/bought by families who are willing to donate.  We will have as many rounds as there are cakes.  Please be creative!  Funds generated are donated to our National Team Fund to help offset the cost of entry fees and team meals during Y Nationals Week in Greensboro, NC.
