All City SWIM Meet at Ridgewood (deadline NOON 7/20)
Description
WARM UPS AT GOODMAN
Warm
ups are 6 - 6:30am on the days of All-City.
Reminder that you should only come to warm ups if you are in one of
the first events. If you swim after 10am a warm up won't be
benifical anymore and a land warm up would be a better
option.
Deadline
Online
entries are due Wednesday, July 20 at
12noon.
Description
This is the culminating swim meet of the season where all 13
All-City teams gather together for a 3-day swim event. It's fun for
everyone and you have bragging rights for participating in one of
the largest outdoor swim meets in the United States!
Qualify
To swim in the All City Swim Meet, your child must have
participated in three dual swim meets.
How many events can I
swim?
Similiar to a dual meet, swimmers may swim 2 individual events and
will automatically be considered for both relays (UNLESS you leave
a note for the coaches in the "notes" section letting them know you
are not available for 1 or both relays). Coaches assign relays
and do their best to put all swimmers on one or both
relays.
Schedule
NB: All relays
are final events and occur one time. Individual events on
Thursday and Friday are prelims. The top
18 places in each event automatically
qualify for Individual finals and 19th and 20th place are
alternates. It is really important for alternates to be available
on Saturday as there's always a chance someone won't show
up.
