RIO VISTA PENTATHLON

Check-in is at 6:30am!

If you haven't already done so, PLEASE RSVP. We need an accurate head count to avoid paying additional fees. Be courteous to our team and let us know if we should be expecting you for this event.

This is a fun event where all swimmers will swim all 5 individual events: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle and the Individual Medley. There are no relays. Times will be combined from all 5 events and a winner from each age group will be declared as the swimmer with the lowest combination of all 5 times.

Swimmers are encouraged to swim all 5 events - if a swimmer is disqualified in one event or doesn't/can't swim in an event, the swimmer is encouraged to swim all other events for time and ribbons.

Don't forget your team suit, goggles, sunscreen, towels (extra encouraged), water, healthy snacks/fruit, material to keep child occupied during events, and let's not forget your positive attitude and good sportsmanship!

Optional/suggested items: pop-up tents, parkas/jackets, blankets (especially for the chilly morning hours), money for snack stand items.

Please remind swimmers to exercise good sportsmanship by waiting in the pool until the last swimmer arrives at the finishing wall --- and congratulate your neighbor swimmer with a "great swim" or "good job".
