2022 Southern Zones Open Water Championship

Description

FGC Swimming is excited to announce the 2022 OW Zone Team.  Please find the team attached.  The swimmers will be notified shortly via email of their selection.

 
If for any reason a swimmer can not attend, please have them contact Liz by 12 pm on Monday so we can try and pull in an alternate.
 
The pool zone application for both coaches and athletes will be posted next week.  The meet has been moved to Tupelo, MS.
 
Congratulations to all swimmers!  Good luck with the long course season.  I look forward to seeing you on the pool deck soon.

***Swimmers must submit their declaration of intent to compete by

Eligibility: All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming Inc. and selected by LSC.
Each LSC may enter up to six swimmers in individual events and up to two Team Pursuit
teams in the Team Pursuit. FINA Birthdates will be used. Age will be determined as of
12/31/22.

Friday
Check in 3:30 – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday
11 & 12 – 2K
13 & 14 – 5K
Senior Open & (15 & 16) – 5K

Sunday
11 & 12 – 2K Team Pursuit Race
13 & 14 – 2K Team Pursuit Race
15 & 16 - 2K Team Pursuit Race
Open – 2K Team Pursuit Race
