Description

• This is a closed YMCA meet. The meet is open to all TYDE swimmers in the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum tracks.   YMCA Membership: An athlete must be a YMCA member in good standing who holds an annual, full privilege membership at the YMCA he/she represents for a period of at least 90 days prior to the first day of the meet. An athlete may have only represented that YMCA team in competition for a period of 90 days prior to the first day of the meet, excluding scholastic competition.  Amateur Status: An athlete may not have represented a college, university or other post-high school institution in any competition and may not have accepted pay or compensation for competing as a swimmer.
• Swimmers entering events 400 m and longer must have a BB time in those events.  There are no minimum qualifying times for 200 m and less. 
• This meet does not allow us to enter swimmers with a value of NT (no time) in an event.  Entered times must be the swimmer’s BEST time achieved during the qualifying period..
• This is the last chance to qualify for the NCS 14 & Under State Champs (JOs), &  NC SR Champs.  Anyone who makes JO cuts at USRY will be able to add them after that meet’s entry deadline.  Be sure to email [email protected] AND [email protected] by end of day Sunday, July 10 with any additions.  Be sure to specify any new events, sessions and days qualified for and confirm intentions to participate if there are days/sessions to be added.  Swimmers will not automatically be entered if achieving new qualifying time(s).

• 13 & Over swimmers will swim prelims and finals in the morning and evening sessions.
• 12 & Under swimmers will swim timed finals in the afternoon sessions

• Distance swimmers should plan to provide their own timers and counters.
• This is a prelims and finals meet.  All swimmers making finals are expected to attend Finals as per team policy.  Any exceptions to this rule need to be brought to the Coaches prior to the meet.
