Maximum
Events: Swimmers can enter a maximum of seven (7)
individual events for the meet and up to three (3) individual
events per day plus relays.
Special Note: if you have more than the maximum 7
individual qualifying times for this meet, ask you coach which
events to "remove" from your lineup - coaches will setup
relays
Time
standards: To qualify, athlete must have achieved a long
course (summer) or short course (winter) "Ohio JO cut" in either an
individual event or composite relay time since Jan 1st of the
previous year. To view the Ohio JO time standards, go to

Qualifying for this meet:To enter this meet in individual events, swimmers must
have achieved a JO cut in either short course (SC) 25-yard or long
course (LC) 50-meter pools since Jan 1 of previous year. Visit the Raider Top Times homepage found under the Team
Info menu and view both reports (short course
yards and long course meters) to see if you have cuts in individual
events. Remember - you can qualify for this meet if
you have a cut from either season! Relay qualifiers will be
announced in the weeks leading up to the meet.
Entry Rules: Only long course meter
times or short course yard times since Jan 1st of the previous year
may be used. Age on the first day of competition will determine
which age group the swimmer will enter for the entire
meet.
Meet Format: This is a prelim/final championship
meet. All events on Thursday are timed finals (swum once).
The top 16 swimmers in each individual event on Friday, Saturday
and Sunday will compete at finals each evening. The 13-14 1500
Free, 10-Un 200 Free, and 11-12 400 Free will only be swum once,
along with all relays. The fastest 8 seeded relays on Friday
and Saturday will be swum during finals. All relays 9th and
slower will be swum during the preliminaries. All relays on Sunday
will be swum during the morning session prelims. Failure to
show at finals, unless the coach signs a scratch form during
preliminaries, will result in the swimmer being barred from his/her
next events. Failure to show at finals on Sunday will result in a
$25 fine.
Awards: Medals top 8 (relays top 3), Ribbons 9-16
(relays (4-8), Outstanding Ohio Male & Female Award for highest
total Hy-Tek Power Points, Individual High Point Plaques
for each gender for age groups (10&Un, 11-12, 13-14), Top 3
Team Trophies for both Large Team and Small
Team
Admission: There is no admission to an
Ohio Championship meet
Time Trials: Swimmer can signup for time trials
which are held immediately following prelims each day.
Swimmers may not exceed the maximum number of events per day
including time trial events
