2022-2023 Season Tryouts - Information - Registration 

Thank you for your interest in the Berkeley Aquatic Club's competitive program.  Please read this page thoroughly as it guides you through the tryout and team registration process.

BAC ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIPS (Needs Based)

To attend a tryout, you must register for a tryout time. 

After you register for your tryout, you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive an email with additional information a few days prior to the tryout. Please note, registrations close 24 hours prior to tryout days.

The first group tryout for evaluation to join Berkeley Aquatic Club will be on Wednesday August 31^st from 5:00-7:00 pm at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.

5:00- 5:15 pm check in

5:15- 7:00 pm tryout

Athletes will be notified by Saturday September 3^rd as to potential placement within the program or recommendations for Bridge 2 BAC clinics.

Provided capacity still remains, a tentative tryout will also be offered on Friday September 9^th. 

There will be 3 practice levels this fall- Age Group (8 practice groups), Junior Squad (2 practice groups) and Senior Squad.

Are you an existing athlete looking to transfer from another club? An in person tryout may not be necessary! Email [email protected] with your age, DOB, current team, current best times, weekly practice schedule (how many times per week and how long)

Can't make any of those times? Not to worry, we will be holding more tryouts on a rolling basis from September onwards.

On the day of the tryout, please follow these procedures: 

Arrive on time. 

There is a NON REFUNDABLE tryout fee of $25 as a part of the online registration process 

Group placements will be sent via e-mail.

What to look for in your placement email

Assigned practice group

Request for confirmation - we will ask that you email back to confirm with us that you will move forward with registration. Once we receive that communication from you, we will activate your account and you may move forward with registration.
