(this is a team hosted event)

Table Coordinator: Jeorghette Plang 957-6954

Important Information Regarding the Foodland IGA Table:

  • All swimmers should be accompanied by a parent at all time - the only exception is for High School swimmers.
  • Remember that you are representing GCS – your behavior directly reflects on the club.
  • Ideas: consider bringing a nice tablecloth, wear GSC logoware, bring medals/ribbons/trophies, googles, swim caps, team photo, etc.  to personalize the table and make it more inviting.
  • Consider bringing fresh baked cookies, a bowl of chocolates or the like to thank those who have donated.
  • Bring a collection jar and decide ahead of time how the swimmers will split the money. For example, divide equally at the end of the shift or alternate asking for pledges.
  • Use your manners - stand up, greet people and remember that please and thank you are important words!
  • Show up for your assigned shift. Please do not sign up and then not show up. If you are not able to make your shift then please remove your name off the online sign-up sheet so others can take your spot. Additionally, please call or text the table coordinator so that they can help find someone to fill your spot.

Set Up/ Take Down

  • The table, GSC banner, and a bag of supplies (pens, pledge receipts, tape, etc) will be located behind the ATM.
  • First shift each day is asked to check with the Customer Service Center and then take out the table, banner and supplies and set up the table right inside the entry way as instructed by staff.
  • Last shift each day is asked to neatly place the table, banner and supplies back behind the ATM.
  • Contact the Table Coordinator if more supplies are needed.

Limit on Sign-up

  • Initially swimmers will be limited to 2 shifts each. After sufficient time has past to allow others to sign up the Aqualaps Coordinators will open the table to unlimited shifts.
