2017-2018 Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the 2017-2018 swim season!
GSC relies heavily on family participation to run a high quality club; thus, in order to equitably distribute the work-load, a service hour requirement is in place. Each family will be required to contribute a minimum of 20 hours each season (September - May). Families who do not fulfill this requirement will be invoiced $20 per unfulfilled hour through their GSC account at the end of the season.
Jobs will vary in the amount of credit they accrue. Some, like timing, will earn credit for actual hours worked. Bigger, on-going jobs, such as coordinators, will earn credit according to the amount of time required and/or role in the administration of the club.
Jobs listed in the “Service Opportunity Event” are primarily those which are not related to a specific event, but on-going throughout the year or for an extended period of time during the season. Opportunities for smaller, one-time jobs will be posted under the 'Job Signup' for the event they are supporting. Please watch for notification of events throughout the season.
