Description

Welcome to Sierra Nevada Short Course Championships!

The Sierra Marlins are excited to be hosting this championship meet and look forward to seeing some great swims over the weekend of March 2nd through March 4th.  As we approach the weekend we would like to share some final reminders to help us all have a great meet.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly, Kathy Myers @ meetdirector@sierramarlins.net. During the meet I will also be available at all sessions.

Location:             Folsom Aquatic Complex, Lembi Park, 1200 Riley Street, Folsom, CA 95630

Parking:                Free parking in designated areas of Lembi Park.  Please use overflow parking at Wal-Mart on the corner of Riley and Glenn.  Do not park in the parking lot directly across the street from the Aquatic Center, nor in the Walgreen’s parking lot.  Do NOT park or stop in the red zones. Spaces marked as 20 minute parking is strictly enforced. White loading zones requires a driver to stay in the vehicle and is for active loading and unloading only.  Please reference the parking map for details on where to park when attending a meet at Folsom Aquatic Center.  There will be some reserved parking spaces for Setup/Hospitality/Snackbar committee leads and Swim4Marlins raffle winners which will be designated with cones/signs.

Tents may be set-up in designated areas, please refer to the map located below.  In addition, there will be no set-up on the cement area behind the Coaches’ area under the diving boards. The Meet Director, Meet Referee, or City of Folsom Personnel have final say to tent / location – if you set-up in an area which causes congestion, you may be asked to move. All tarps must be removed from the grass overnight.

UPDATE 3/1/18: The grass area behind the diving boards is closed for setup due to the rain.
