7A State Championship Swimming Finals

When: Saturday, February 3rd, 2018
Spectator Admission Fee: $12.00 per day
Departure Time (Team Bus): 8:00 AM (all swimmers must ride the bus to and from the swim meet)
Warm-ups: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM 
Meet Start: 11:30 AM
Approx Meet Finish: 4:00 PM

Cost: $12 fee for spectators per day.(For all sessions doors will open for spectators no earlier than 2 hours prior to competition)
Spectator Seating: Seats are available on a first come first served basis (Click here for a specator seating map). Reserving of more than 2 seats is not permitted. Teams may not use towels, coats, pom-poms, etc… to reserve more than 2 seats. The only thing that can reserve a seat is a body.

Bus Departs from RHS senior parking lot at a 8:00 AM.   We will have a bus travelling both ways. Food will be provided to swimmers.  We are expected to return to RHS senior parking lot at a yet-to-be determined time. Swimmers will call parents 30 minutes out for a more specific arrival time.

Merchandise
State championship merchandise will be available on site by Team IP.

Finals and Awards:
The top 30 individuals and relays return for Saturday’s finals. Awards will be provided for the top 3 individuals and relays. Awards will be presented immediately after the conclusion of the championship final heat of each event.

Scoring:
The top 20 places score as follows 24, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 11, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 with double points for relays. Athletes must meet or exceed the qualifying standard in either prelims or finals to be eligible for points.

Admission:
The cost of admission is $12 per session. Buy digital tickets on your mobile phone at  GoFan  Students not on their team’s list of qualified swimmers or team personnel will have to pay the admission and are not allowed on the pool deck.

12. 400-yard Freestyle Relay
