SC Long Course State Championships @ USC

Description

Athlete Eligibility: Qualifying times required. This meet is open to all swimmers currently registered with USA Swimming and SC Swimming only.  Age is to be determined on the first day of the meet.  All USA Swimming registration numbers will be verified with the SC LSC registration database. All swimmers entered must meet or exceed the SC State Meet Qualifying Standards in EACH event entered.  All swimmers shall have met the state meet individual event qualifying time standard in the age group of the relay event in which they swim.

Officials:  Carolina Aquatics welcomes visiting officials.   Individuals wishing to officiate or apprentice should contact the Meet Referee as soon as possible.

  • This meet will be an Official’s Qualifying Meet. Officials interested in advancing their national level qualifications for N2 or N3 levels for stroke and turn and starter should complete a request to be evaluated form available on the SC LSC website Official’s tab.
  • The dress will be a collared, white, sleeved shirt over navy for all officials, inclusive of Administrative Officials.  All white shoes should be worn at all sessions; no open-toed shoes of any kind (sandals, flip flops, feet shoes, etc.).  At Finals, each official should dress in the following uniform: collared, white sleeved shirt, with men wearing navy long trousers, and women choosing between navy slacks or skirts/skorts (no shorts at finals, please).

Deck & Pool Access:  Everyone will enter the building on the east side of the building adjacent to the parking lot (look for the glass doors under the Gamecock awning).  From this entrance, one flight of stairs leads to the 2nd floor concourse level and spectator seating.  There will be bleachers on deck for swimmers.  Swimmers also may bring folding chairs on deck, but at the end of each session chairs must be removed

ADA Accessibility:  Blatt is ADA accessible through the front entrance off Wheat Street.  Just let the USC staff at the front desk know your needs.
