SN LC Championships (JOs) The Bill Rose Classic
Sierra Nevada Long Course Championships: The Bill Rose Classic (formerly known as JOs). Hosted by CCA at the Roseville Aquatic Center. Four full days with prelims and finals. Must have qualifying times.
All events are trials and finals except the following timed final events: all 8-Under events, 10-Under 400-meter freestyle, 800-meter freestyle, 1500-meter freestyle and all Relays. Swimmers may compete in up to three (3) individual events per day plus relays, with maximum of (7) individual events plus relays for the whole meet.
13&over warm-up: 7:30am (must clear out of long course pool by 8:00am).
12&under warm-up: 8:20am.
Swimmers compete in team cap and either the team suit or a Speedo brand racing suit. Only 13&overs using a knee suit.
Thursday = new LC Champs shirt
Friday = Blue team shirt
Saturday = Maroon team shirt
Sunday = new LC Champs shirt
Tentative relays are posted. Relays are always subject to change by coaches. Thursday and Friday relays are at the end of prelims. The 200 medley relay (Saturday) and the 200 free relay (Sunday) are at the BEGINNING of prelims. The 800 Free relays are at the end of prelims on Saturday.
Finals warm-up ad start times will be announced when known. Top 8 swimmers from prelims swim in finals. This is a championship meet which means there are penalties for missing a race. At this level swimmers are expected to be on time to their races without excuse.
Parent timing shifts will be posted once we know the number of chairs we will be required to fill each day.
