The Terra Linda Orcas welcome the Rolling Hills Stingrays to Terra Linda on Saturday! We are looking forward to an exciting meet – these teams have battled back and forth the last few years, new friendships have blossomed and a friendly rivalry is budding. It has been fun to watch both programs grow and always good to have a fun, competitive event.
The meet starts at 8:30 am and your warm-ups will be at 8:00 am.
The pool has a small parking lot, which is usually pretty full by 7:45. Most of the parking is on the street. There is a tiny lot just before the pool (by the fire station) and a bit larger one right after. There is a Shopping Mall lot across the street. In consideration of our neighbors, we ask people NOT to use the spaces directly adjacent to the buildings, i.e: Scotty’s Market and the other small businesses. This parking is for their customers.
NOTE: Anyone parking next to or in front of ASHY'S NAIL SALON (on the near corner) is in serious danger of being towed! (No joke!)
We will save the grassy area behind the wading pool for your team. This is to the right as you enter the gate. There is a fair amount of space, and not a lot of shade. You are welcome to bring your larger team tents and personal tents. Note: the wading pool will be closed during the meet, and we also ask for help keeping swimmers out of the shallow area of the main pool.
