CMSA Spirit of Mobile (HOME)
This event is open to all swimmers in all groups.
Location: Bishop State CC Pool(6 lane x 50 meters)
Technology: Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted behind the starting blocks, in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms. Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue (pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open-ceiling locker rooms) any time athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present.
Warm-ups: Southeastern Swimming Meet Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect at this meet. A warm-up schedule and psych sheet will be posted on the host club web-site (www.swimcmsa.com). Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director or Referee to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session. Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
Times: Friday PM: Warm Up: 4:30pm; Meet Start
Saturday & Sunday AM: Warm Up 7:40-8:50am;
Meet Start 9:00am.
Event age groups for this session are: 8 and Under, 9-10, and 11-12.
Saturday & Sunday PM: 50 minute warm up session immediately following completion of morning session. Competition will not start before 12:00pm. Event age groups for this session are: 13-14 and Open.
There will be a brief coaches meeting at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning.
Fees: Event Fees - $5.00 per event/
$10.00 per relay
Late Fees - $6.00 per event/ $12.00 per relay
Surcharges - $10.00 per swimmer (includes downloadable heat sheet)

Entry Limit: Swimmers may swim up to two (2) events on Friday and up to three (3) events per day on Saturday and Sunday. Event order listed in order of events PDF document.

Format: This is a timed finals meet. All events will be pre-seed. The host team reserves the right to move age groups to alternative sessions to adhere to the meet timeline rules. There will not be a clerk of course for any session. Flyover starts may be used.
8 & Under Age Group Scoring events: 50’s of all strokes
and 100 free.
9-10 and 11-12 Age Group Scoring Events: 50’s & 100’s of all strokes, 200 IM, 200 & 400 Free.
No scoring events for 13 and over age groups.
Awards: Ribbons for individual events: 1st thru 6th (8&U, 10&U and 11-12 age groups will be given). Awards for High Point Top 3 will be given for the following age groups: 8&U, 9-10, and 11-12.
Coaches: All coaches must be up to date with current status in USA Swimming. Coaches must be current USA Swimming Coach members in order to perform deck duties and prepared to show credentials. If coach is currently not certified, he/she may observe the meet as any other spectator, but may not be on the deck.
Disabilities: Swimmers with disabilities are welcome and must complete the Information Form for Disabled Swimmers and return it with the entries.
Eligibility: All participants must be USA Swimming registered athletes. Entries will not be accepted without current registration numbers. A swimmer's age on the first day of the meet will determine his or her age for the entire meet. There will be no USA Registration on deck.
