Description

Division Championship "The Divisionals" | All six Division teams compete head to head with their most competitive lineups. Meet results contribute heavily toward division standings. For this meet, two swimmers per event and age group from each Division team are entered by the head coach of each team. There are two heats of every event, and the meet is capped off with a single heat of relays in which each team enters their fastest relay team.  The Head Coach determines who will be swimming in this meet primarily based on availability and times swum throughout the season.  The event/s your child swims depends on the team’s best opportunity to score points.  Although usually the coach bases lineups strictly on times, other factors go into play as well, so the swimmers with the top two fastest times on our swim team are not always the ones chosen for the Division Championship.  Please see the FAQ section of the Parent Handbook for a more in depth explanation.  If you have any questions regarding the Division Championship lineup choices please contact the head coach or an A Rep. Medals are awarded for first through third, and ribbons for fourth through sixth place.

Athletes selected for this meet lineup will be notified, but please declare your availability (yes/no) no later than Friday July 13, 2018. Lineups must be exchanged with the other five division teams on Monday of Divisional week.
