Presentation for Juniors and Seniors
We will have a guest speaker for all Junior and Senior swimmers from 4-5 pm on Tuesday, April 2 at Solano College. This will be a classroom talk-classroom number will be posted on the event section of our website.
Professor Kevin Marks of Solano College will talk to the swimmers about the "Razors Edge"....performance in the pool and in the classroom.
All participants should bring something to write with (pen or pencil) and their cellphone.

Optimal performance: Mindset: Set your mind to perform optimally in the classroom. You will learn about your psychological framework and how to make this work for you. We will discuss one of the most impactful mental exercise you can execute that will allow you to perform at higher levels in the classroom. You will learn about the latest research, theories and models relating to the 3 most profound habits you can practice for high performance in the classroom and how to apply these. You will learn what "playing on the razors edge" means and how to push the edge with learning in the classroom.
About Professor Marks: Kevin Marks holds two master’s degrees. One master’s of science degree in sport/exercise science (biomechanics & exercise physiology), and a second master’s of science degree in psychology. Professor Marks is a full time tenured professor, endurance athlete and high performance mental skills strength and conditioning coach- Women’s sooner, Solano College
