Description

Calling all Chargers to climb to new heights and challenge yourselves in fun, new ways!  Don’t miss out on the Chargers’ July 9 outing to the Adventure Park at Sandy Spring!  Payment in full, registration forms, and permission slips   are due on Sunday, June 24, by 3:00 PM.  They should be submitted in a sealed envelope to a team rep OR put in the swim team file in the pool office by a guard on desk duty.  Packets will be distributed at the parent meeting and swim practices.  Extra copies can be found in the swim team file at the pool desk or you can print and complete the information below.

All climbers are required to complete an online waiver form prior to their arrival at the park. Waivers can only be completed electronically.  

Where:          The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring

                      16701 Norwood Road, Sandy Spring, MD 20860

When:           July 9, 8:30 AM sharp -1 PM (arrive by 8:20 at pool pkg. lot)

Who:             All Chargers and family members 5 years and above

Cost:             $30 for the Aerial Forest and $25 for the Labyrinth per climber            

Includes:      30 minutes of training AND 3 hrs. climbing @ the Aerial Forest

                     OR 30 minutes of training AND 2 hours climbing @ the Labyrinth

                     AND a pizza lunch for all climbers ($5 lunch for non-climbers)

The Labyrinth -- Option for younger climbers ages 5-8 or less thrill-seeking 9 and 10 year olds

The Labyrinth is a two-level climbing structure that has 40 different ways to enjoy your climbing adventure! There are no traditional zip-lines, but there are the TrueBlues throughout!

Please Note:  5 & 6 year old children must be accompanied by a paying adult on the course.  The ratio is 3:1 (children/adult) 

The Aerial Forest -- Option for ages 7 and up (and for very adventurous 5 or 6 year olds WITH a climbing adult)
With over 90 aerial obstacles, 30 zip lines, and 13 separate challenge courses of different levels, the park has something for everyone.

Please note: For every 8 kids climbing, 1 chaperone may climb for free in the Aerial Forest!  Register early to be eligible to climb as a “free adult”.
