Fort Lauderdale Team Developmental Camp '18
This is a unique opportunity to attend a Tigershark Team Training Development Camp, conducted at the World Famous Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex and the International Swimming Hall of Fame. It is intended as a fun but challenging experience with the highest expectations for attitude, behavior and effort.
This camp experience is for Level V & VI swimmers who have demonstrated a commitment to both their training and their teammates to elevate that commitment through the shared challenges of the trip. Team members need to be prepared physically, mentally and psychologically for the experience. While this is an opportunity to grow closer as a team, the foundation of team commitment needs to already be in place from the beginning of the Long Course Season and will culminate in the Long Course championship meets.
For these reasons, there will be a minimum practice attendance requirement in order to participate in the training trip and meet. This requirement begins on the first day of Long Course training, April 24, and continues through the day of departure for the trip, June 19. Level V swimmers are expected to average six practices per week and Level VI swimmers are expected to attend every practice.
Registration Deadline is June 1st - A $100 non-refundable deposit will be charged to the account, which will be applied to final cost of the trip. Practice attendance will be verified prior to final payment. If practice attendance is not met, swimmer will not be permitted to participate and deposit will not be refunded.
Activities Include: Two swim practices per day, dryland at the pool and on the beach, team-building activity, possibly an ocean swim (depending on conditions).
