Qualifying standard: There are no qualifying standards for this meet.  Swimmers must be at least 12 years old to attend this trip.

Trip Details

Departure: The bus will be picking up the swimmers at the pool parking lot at 1 pm on Thursday, May 3.

Return: The bus will leave after the Sunday evening session at approximately 9 pm.  We will arrive back in Moncton on Monday morning around 7am.

Snacks and food: Most meals will be covered by the cost of the trip.  There are a few exceptions - make sure your swimmer has enough food to eat during the bus ride to Sherbrooke, which includes something for supper on Thursday.  We will have some snacks for all swimmers for the rest of the trip but if they like to have certain things, please make sure they bring these. 

Required forms and photocopies of medicare and travel insurance cards: you will be required to provide photocopies of medicare cards and complete forms for your swimmer(s).  We will provide you with a deadline at a later date.

Team Travel Code of conduct: swimmers will be expected to follow the code of conduct during the entire trip.  Please ensure they understand that they are representing CVAC while they are on the bus and in Sherbrooke. 

Trip Costs :   The cost of the trip is $550 per swimmer. Details are outlined in the following table:

*Please note, these estimates are for 30 swimmers attending the trip. All costs include food, lodging and transportation for two coaches and two chaperones and also includes required lodging for the bus driver.

Payments will be due in two installments: $275 by April 1, 2018 and the remaining amount by May 1, 2018.  All payments must be received by May 1.

Meeting:  A mandatory meeting will be held one week prior to departure for all attending swimmers and parents.  Each participant will be required to sign a code of conduct. Parents and swimmers will have a chance to meet with Mel and the chaperones to ask questions.
