This is the State Championship Meet for our 13/14 and Open swimmers. Swimmers must have State (Q1) qualifying times for their age group.

Eligibility: All swimmers registered with Michigan Swimming who have achieved an actual short course yards, short course meters, or long course meters time equal to or faster than the qualifying standards (referred to as Q1 Times) achieved between January 1, 2017 and July 26, 2018 are eligible to enter this event. Entry Procedures: Michigan Swimming has adopted USA Swimming's OME (Online Meet Entry) as the sole process for entering teams and individual swimmers into the State Meet. Gators Coaches will enter all swimmers into the meet using the OME.  Gators Swimmers can sign up for their events on our website.  All events for State Meet should be discussed with your child's coach prior to the entry deadline.

Meet Format: All Michigan Swimming individual events are offered in the 13/14 and Open age groups during the four-day meet. Relays are also timed finals events. These two heats will in a B-Final Consolation heat (9-16) followed by the A-Final Championship heat (1-8).

Seeding: The fastest three heats in prelims will be circle seeded. The 800 and 1500 Free will be seeded fastest to slowest and alternating genders (girls/boys) with the fastest heat (top 8) regardless of age, after scratches, swimming at night in the Finals. The 13/14 and Open will be swum together and will be separated for scoring and awards. The fastest two heats of the 400 Free and 400 IM will be circle seeded and the remainder of the heats will be seeded slowest to fastest.

Relays: The 800 Free Relay will swim Thursday evening seeded slowest to fastest. The 400 Free Relay will swim Friday at finals seeded fastest to slowest. The 400 Medley Relay will swim Sunday at prelims seeded slowest to fastest and awards to follow the event.
