In granting this sanction, it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free and held harmless from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of this event.

ELIGIBILTY: Swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming. NO ON DECK REGISTRATION SHALL BE PERMITTED. Swimmers must be within the listed age brackets as of June 15, 2018. Only swimmers of invited teams are eligible.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries MUST BE RECEIVED by Midnight on Monday, May 28, 2018.

ENTRY LIMITS: Swimmers may enter a maximum of three individual events Friday and three individual events and one relay Saturday and Sunday. We will adhere to the Four-Hour Rule for 12 & Under Events.

The following events will be deck seeded:

· ALL events 200 meters and longer will be deck seeded and MAY be limited to the fasted 32 times, except the 800 and 1500, which MAY be limited to the fastest 24 times.

· All 800 & 1500-meter events will be swum fastest to slowest. The 1500’s MAY be swum 2 per lane with the exception of the fastest heats. Swimmers will need to provide their own counters and two timers.

· Additional swimmers will be allowed to swim, time permitting.

All swimmers in deck-seeded events (or swimmer representative) must check in with the clerk of the course 30 minutes prior to the start of each session.

ENTRY FEES: $14.00 Facility Surcharge per swimmer

$3.00 Oregon Swimming, Inc. surcharge per swimmer

$3.00 per Individual event

$10.00 per Relay entry

ENTRIES: 1) Submit LONG COURSE METER TIMES only for seeding. NT’s are acceptable

2) Submit entries by email using HYTEK meet management software. Please include a PRINTOUT of your entries, listed by Athlete. Be sure the printout matches the entry file.

3) Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing racing starts or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.

*NOTE: Unless otherwise announced, warm-ups for the afternoon session will be no later than 1 hour after the end of the morning session.

CHECK-IN: Coaches’ packets will be available in the Meet Office. Current credentials will be required.

MEETINGS: OFFICIALS: Held 45 minutes before the start of each session.

COACHES: Held 15 minutes before the start of each session.

OFFICIALS: We always appreciate the help of certified officials from other clubs. If you will be attending this meet, please notify the meet referee. An official’s hospitality room will be provided.

OFFICIALS CLINIC: TBA.

TIMERS: Each team will be given lane-timing assignments. Sign-up sheets will be emailed to each team to fill lanes BEFORE the first day of the meet.

AWARDS: 12 &under: Individual: 1st - 8th place ribbons within the age groups of (8&U), (9-10), (11–12).

Relays: 1st – 8th place ribbons per event (not age groups).

13 & Over: Individual: NO AWARDS; Relays: NO AWARDS

High Point Awards: Will be given to girl and boy in each age group (8&U), (9-10), (11-12), (13-14), (15-16) & (17&O).

Marta Hogard Award: Most Inspirational Swimmer.

*Note: Relays will not be scored for High Points.

SCORING: Individual: 20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11

BULLPEN: NONE – All swimmers report directly to their lanes.

RULES: Current USA Swimming and Oregon Swimming Inc., rules will govern this meet.

SAFETY: Current Oregon Swimming Safety Guidelines and Warm-up procedures will be in effect and strictly enforced.

FACILITY: The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). Outdoor 50-meter pool with 8 lanes (7 feet per lane) with non-turbulent lane lines. Automatic timing systems with touch pads and backup buttons. Swim venue includes Men’s & Women’s locker rooms with access onto pool deck. Facility is accessible to adaptive swimmers

VENDORS: Concessions stand is open throughout the meet. T-shirt vendor (Hot Tee’s) will be on site.

CAMPING: NO Overnight RV camping in the pool parking lots or parking lots adjacent to the pool. No parking or overnight camping will be allowed at Roosevelt Middle School. Tent camping is NOT allowed at or near the venue. There are several campgrounds in the Eugene area available for larger RVs or tents. RESTRICTIONS: NO ANIMALS ALLOWED INSIDE THE VENUE. TOBACCO PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AND GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SWIMMING VENUE. SHAVING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE VENUE. USE OF AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES, INCLUDING CELL PHONES, IS NOT PERMITTED IN CHANGING AREAS, RESTROOMS, OR LOCKER ROOMS. DECK CHANGING IS PROHIITED. PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT PERMITTED BEHIND THE BLOCKS DURING STARTS AND RELAY EXCHANGES. OPERATIONS OF A DRONE OR ANY OTHER FLYING APPARATUS IS PROHIBITED OVER THE VENUE (POOL, ATHLETE/COACHES AREAS, SPECTATOR AREAS AND OPEN-CEILING LOCKER ROOMS) ANY TIME ATHLETES, COACHES, OFFICIALS AND/OR SPECTATORS ARE PRESENT.
