Times to work Food Concession Tent:

Sunday, July 1st from 10:00 am (when parade starts) until 6:30 PM

This is a LONG day for 10+ food vendors.

Location: Shipyard's Park

Purpose:  Glacier Bears' SWIM FAMILY member Fundraiser

1. Swim families and athletes of our current squads are welcome to work this ONE DAY;

                Both adults & youth are needed.  smiley We need at least one adult on each shift.

Youth (13 to 14 years old) MUST have their parent/guardian work with them on their shifts;

Youth over 14 years can sign up for shifts with these jobs in mind.... operate popcorn machine, sno-cone machine, bag candy floss & popcorn, prep food orders, reload drinks and supplies, serve customers with a smile!                         Wear WGB gear!

Adults needed to operate bbq-cook burgers, smokies & hotdogs, oversee cash box as sales are intense & busy, & work candy floss machine.

It is hard to know how busy we will be but with the hopes are that the total 8 hours will be steady and busy with many hands needed to help cook bbq meats, make & bag candy floss, make snow cones, cook & serve corn on the cob, serve canned drinks and take orders and work with cash$ efficiently.

We need your help to make this a successful fundraiser for our swim team! so PLAN to work a shift or two and then take a break and RETURN to work another shift!

Full details on all the Canada Day Whitehorse events will soon appear in WUY? and on social media

Swim club has acquired all the equipment to operate a food concession (candy floss, bbq meats, pop drinks, snow cones & corn on the cob) - plans are to offer this community service during the Canada 150 celebration events hosted by the City of Whitehorse.

NOTE:   Parking for all Canada Day events hosted in the Shipyards Park will be a challenge;

Drop-off near park recommended and use of COW transit all day available
