WHAT: 2018 ASC Coup de Gras Invitational / Age Group Travel Trip

WHEN: Meet dates June 29-30th 2018. Travel trip dates June 29th - July 1st 2018.

WHERE:  Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy, 5513 Southwest Parkway, Austin TX 78735

WHO: This meet is open to all TWST swimmers aged 14 & Under.  Swimmers aged 11-14 will travel with the team and stay as a group in Austin.  Swimmers aged 10 & Under may attend the meet and the team activities under parental supervision and will travel with their families to the meet and team events.  There are no qualifying times for this meet and no times (NT) will be accepted.

MEET SCHEDULE: This is a two day, timed finals event.  

Session #1:  Friday PM.  Warmups will start at 4pm and meet will start at 5pm.

Session #2: Saturday AM.  Warmups will begin at 7:30am and meet will start at 9am.

MORE INFO:  Swimmers may compete in three (3) individual events per day for a max of six (6 events) at the meet.  Entry fees are $9.25 per event and there is a $2 per swimmer surcharge at this meet.

TRAVEL TRIP SUMMARY:  We will be leaving via chartered bus the morning of June 29th from the NAT.  We will arrive in Austin in time to check-in at the hotel and then head to the for the meet warm up.

While in Austin, we'll be competing at the meet as well as doing some fun team bonding events on Saturday after the meet.  There will be a dedicated fun day on Sunday before we travel back to the NAT Sunday night, July 1st.

DEADLINE: Please sign up your swimmer(s) to attend the trip via by Wednesday, May 30th. Go to EVENTS, pick this meet title and then commit athlete.  After commitment deadline, families will be responsible for full trip payment with no refunds allowed - no exceptions.  Coaches will build events for the swimmers attending and they will have until Wednesday, June 6th to review meet events.  At the close of the review, the meet file will be sent to the host team and all swimmers entered will be billed for meet fees separately from travel trip costs regardless of actual meet attendance.

COST AND BILLING: The estimated trip cost is $300 per person with $100 billed June 1st, $100 billed July 1st and the remaining amount of the final trip cost billed August 1st.  All billing will be via individual family accounts.  Actual cost may vary slightly depending on the number of participants.  If the cost exceeds or is less than the $300m estimate, families will be notified and the final balance will be charged as their third payment on August 1st.

MORE INFO: Trip is booked on first come / first serve basis and limited to the capacity number of a single charter bus.  Cost of trip will include travel, lodging, meals and planned activities.  Meet entry fees are not included in the trip amount and swimmers will need additional money for travel meals, snacks and souvenirs.

Once we have a trip roster, we will be asking all attending to bring a specific amount of either packaged snacks or Gatorade type sport drinks with them to donate for the trip.  These will be used as team snacks during the trip.  If your swimmer has any food allergies, please be sure to put that in the NOTES section when you commit your swimmer to the meet/trip.

All swimmers going on the trip will be expected to swim a FULL meet schedule on Friday and Saturday.  Meet entry costs are posted above.
