SENIOR 1&2 GROUP INITIATIVE CHALLENGE

Senior 1 & Senior 2 Swimmers,
We will be doing a team building activity called the Group Initiative Challenge with the Miami University Outdoor Pursuit group. The challenge will be on Saturday, October 27 at Peffer Park near Miami University. Peffer Park is located off of Rt 27 about a half mile south of campus. All participants should be dropped off in the parking lot at 8:45 am as the challenge will begin promptly at 9:00 am. All participants will need to get picked up at 11:00 am. An alternate location indoors will be used in case of inclement weather conditions. That location will be announced closer to the activity date should we need to go indoors.
All participants should dress in comfortable clothing that allows for movement and wear close-toed shoes that allow for active participation in physical activity. Open-toed and dress shoes are unacceptable and create risk for the participant. It is recommended that jewelry not be worn during the program, especially items that dangle. Participants are encouraged to dress in layers (depending on the weather) and bring a rain jacket, water bottle, (depending on season).
The cost per swimmer is $16. Please bring cash or check payable to Todd Billhimer by Saturday, October 20 to secure your spot in the activity. also, complete the waiver and bring with you to the event. This should be a great opportunity for our swimmers to build additional leadership skills in a fun learning environment.
To sign up, please go to the team function tab on the website and select the event and add your swimmer. Please let me know if you have any questions. This function will replace practice on the 27th. Thank you.
