Due to the large number of athletes, we have created three warm-up sessions for ALL teams. Please see the attached document for warm-ups. Please relay this information to your athletes and parents as you see fit. Warm-ups will be 20 minutes each in length. Please note that warm-ups will begin 15 minutes earlier than originally stated in the meet announcement. This is to allow a safe warm-up for all our athletes participating in the meet. Please arrange to do starts in your own lanes as part of your warm-up - there will NOT be another start/sprint session after the general warm-up. Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we strive to keep all our athletes safe.
SCRATCHES AND DECK ENTRIES:
Deck entries WILL be accepted on a first come, first serve basis
- however, please note that we can only fill empty lanes due to
time constraints. PLEASE INFORM US OF ALL
SCRATCHES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE MAY FILL EMPTY LANES WITH
DECK ENTRIES. It is our goal to minimize the number
of empty lanes - thanks in advance for everyone's
Deck entries will only be accepted during warm-up from 8:00-8:10am.
Deck Access will only be granted to athletes and coaches who are able to demonstrate clearances with USA Swimming via the USA Swimming Deck Pass AND Picture ID. This policy will be strictly enforced. We ask that all athletes and coaches enter the pool deck via the hallway where the athlete bathrooms are located to access the deck. The pool office will only be utilized by Officials and meet personnel. Please plan accordingly. For more information, please visit http://www.maswim.org/18_19/Forms/Membership%20Cards.pdf
This meet will be seeded during warm-ups the day of each session. Every coach will be receiving a list of the athletes entered in the meet upon arrival. We ask that a coach from every team take the time to scratch athletes that are not present for the meet during warm-ups. Our goal is to have a swimmer in every lane for all possible heats. Please be prepared to scratch athletes accordingly.
We will be accepting deck entries once the meet is seeded, IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE. Please note that an athlete not already entered in the meet or their coach MUST provide evidence that the athlete is registered either by:
Providing a copy of the watermarked athlete roster prior to the
first day of the meet OR
The swimmer may provide proof of registration through their Deck Pass. The swimmer may also print verification through their Deck Pass account.
Without proof of registration, the swimmer may not deck enter
All deck entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and based on availability of space. Please note that deck entries are $10 per event and cash or check will be accepted if the athlete(s) deck entries are accepted. Deck entries will only be accepted between 8:00 and 8:20 so we can seed the meet and print programs. Thank you for your understanding.
