Prep Whitewater rafting
Sunday October 15 we have a fun opportunity for Prep swimmers to try their hand at whitewater rafting on the Ocoee river! Swimmers will leave the pool at 7:30 am with a group of prep parents to arrive at the outfitters by 10:30am. Quest Expeditions will be our guide and we have used them many times in the past as they do a great job. We will be done by 2pm and should return to Gwinnett by 6pm. The cost is $30/person and will be billed to your account.
The outfitter’s rule and Tennessee law stipulates that participants must be 12. We have had a few 11 yr olds skirt this rule in the past. Use your best judgment.
Hugh, Lucas and Kelsey will already be up at the rafting site camping with Senior and HSTG swimmers so we will need at least 1 parent to drive for every 4-5 swimmers going. In the past the parents and swimmers have worked this out between them and we did not have to organize the transportation. Parents are encouraged to participate in the rafting too!
In order to participate use the commitment button below before Tuesday Sept 21. Then bring in the attached waiver by Sept 27
