Description

Hosted by Eagle Swim Team

Held at McDonogh School – Rosenburg Aquatic Center, 8600 McDonogh Road, Owings Mills, MD, 21117

Warm-ups
Start at 8:00am and end at 8:55am.  We will split all lanes 50/50.  NAAC will take lanes 1-4 in the (25y) competition pool and will have access to shallow 4 lanes nearest the main entrance in the (20y) cool down pool.  EST will have lanes 5-8 in the the competition pool and use the 4 lanes closest to the bulkhead in the cool down pool.

Please use the warm-up time however you wish.  Have the coaches separate the groups, or create their own schedule so that every swimmer has a chance to warm-up.  (i.e. 30 min senior warmup, then 25 min Age Group warm-up.. or seniors in the competition pool, age group in the cool down pool)  Whatever works best for your team.

Athlete Check-in
Ends at 8:20am.   When swimmers come in the main lobby doors there will be a table set up for them to confirm their events and any scratches.  Coaches, please scratch those swimmers who you are sure will not be attending.  If athletes do not check-in we will confirm the list with a lead coach just to make sure swimmers did not forget and then we will have those swimmers not checked-in scratched from the meet.  This will help us save anywhere for 15-30 minutes on the timeline and make sure there are few empty lanes, so we can have some great races.

Programs & Heat Sheets
Will not be sold.  They will be made available through Meet Mobile and paper copies will be posted in the spectator gallery and around the pool deck.  Coaches will be supplied with as many programs as they need.

Scheduled Breaks
There are three scheduled 5 minute breaks in the meet to allow rest time for athletes following the 200 Fly, 100 fly, and 100 breast.  At the discretion of the meet referee these breaks can be made longer or shorter.

Scoring & Awards
Each event will be separated into age groups (9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15&older).  We will use an 8 lane scoring system of 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.  Top 8 swimmers from each age group score for their team.  Top 3 girls and top 3 boys from each age group will receive a high point award.  Heat winner will be given "heat winner" rub on tattoos.

Parking
A campus map is attached.  Please approach the aquatic center via Lambourn Rd. All spectators may park in the Woods Lot and enter the Rollins-Leutkemeyer athletic center through the main doors adjacent to traffic circle.  Parents are encouraged to park and walk in with their athletes and not to drop off in the circle.
