2019 Swim-a-Lap Challenge
(this is a team hosted event)
Our annual Swim-a-Lap
Challenge is on July 10th during regularly scheduled
Music, food and lots of laps being counted.
The Swim-a-Lap is a fun challenge for our swimmers to see how many laps they can swim in an hour. We partner this with raising money for a cause team the team selects by asking for per-lap pledges, or a flat donation. Donating is easy using our online fundraising tool, (see the Help Video on the page for instructions) or families can make a donation via check or cash using the pledge form posted below.
During regulary-scheduled practices, swimmers will challenge themselves to as many laps as they can in one hour. Swimmers of all ages, as well as parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents and Dolphin alumni are encouraged to participate!
This year we are going to raise funds to make a sizeable donation to the Caring and Sharing community food pantry run by our friends over at Grace United Methodist Church. We have supported these efforts over the years as they provide emergency food and financial assistance to people in our community in times of need. In addition to a monetary donation, we will also collect non-perishable food items. Please click HERE for information on this program. Appropriate food donations include:
We need a lot of volunteers to help with serving food and counting laps. It's an easy way to get some hours in and it's DURING your regularly scheduled practice times, so no extra time at the pool! Click the "job signup" button above to see what's available.
