Youth Fitness Program - 2018 Winter Extension

This program is open to all current BHCC members only.

 

Blackhawk Country Club is offering an extension to the Youth Fitness Program. Designed to increase your athlete’s general fitness and body strength, the Youth Fitness Program at Blackhawk Country Club will build your athlete’s confidence and ability. This training program will help your young athlete stay active during the winter months. The extension runs from Feb 5th to Feb 23rd and practice time will move to 4:15-5:15pm at the Tennis Villas.

 

Program Outline:

Kids and athletes from any sport benefit when they are coordinated and have body awareness and control. The program is designed to build general fitness and body strength through extensive training and technical instruction. Program is limited to participants age 10 to 17.

 

Training objectives will continue focus on:

  • General fitness and body strength
  • Perfecting technical efficiency and precision
  • Increasing core strength and flexibility through resistance and stretching

 

Required Gear: All athletes must come to class in appropriate workout attire (good sneakers and no denim or street clothing) and bring a yoga mat and water bottle to each class.

 

Fee: $75, and you must be a Blackhawk Country Club member in order to register

Class Schedule:

The extension will offer three days per week, days will be different from week to week so please review dates below.  Practice time will move to 4:15-5:15pm at the Tennis Villas. This is a drop off class. Therefore, parents are expected to wait in their cars or outside the fitness room.
