REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN FOR BERKELEY MASTERS

Summer Session: June 28th - July 29th (No Masters July 5th)
$125.00 for the summer season
All athletes should line up outside, maintaining social distancing protocols to check in with Coach Peter Barry. Please read all information contained in the registration process. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected]
Masters time slots may be consolidated or adjusted to meet demand.
All workouts will be at the Berkeley Aquatic Club, 629 Central Ave., New Providence NJ 07974
Each BERKELEY MASTERS registered USMS Member will need to review and agree to the following documents/waivers:

Additionally, rather than collecting daily paper waivers, each athlete will be required to access and complete a GOOGLE FORM specifically re-confirming your ongoing eligibility to participate. This process must be completed within 24 hours of each practice.
There will be NO make ups or refunds offered for missed or canceled workouts.

Mandatory Guidelines for use of the
-Swimmers will confirm “healthy” for practice the preceding evening via online waiver form.
-Swimmers arrive and depart wearing facial masks which are to be removed upon entry into pool.
-Swimmers arrive and depart in swim attire (BERK will NOT have access to the locker rooms).
-Swimmers arrive with foot protection.
-Swimmers are to use a ziplock bag for goggles, cap and facial mask.
-Swimmers remain in cars until signal is given to approach facility.
-Swimmers approach facility maintaining Safe Social Distance.
- Swimmers are not to bring any equipment (no fins, no boards, no gear) . No gear will be used during workouts.
-Swimmers are not to share any water bottles, etc. NO FOOD!! Water Containers with names clearly printed (no glass) may be used.
-Swimmers will be assigned groups and lanes at the first day of practice and are to remain in groups/lanes, (for tracking purposes,) until notified by coaches.
-Swimmers, coaches, lifeguards and staff are to maintain safe social distance throughout practice.
-Bathrooms will be available for emergency toilet use; one swimmer at a time.
-All Showering is to be done at home during COVID-19 phase.
-Swimmers will be directed to the exits maintaining safe social distance.
-Participants are to leave a minimum of one car space, each side, clear. Then proceed to the rear of the building to access the pool deck via the large blue doors at the deep end.
With all the efforts we are making to keep our swimmers and families safe, we need you to be mindful of safe driving practices in the parking lot...please drive slowly like "your children live here?!" Keep watch of other drivers, patrons, dogs!! It is a busy lot, and there is never anything so important to be in a rush to get to then your children, and our team members home safely.
Not dissimilar to other Swim Teams across the country, BERK will be requiring an ongoing process to enable better tracking / tracing capabilities. Athletes will be assigned lanes and will continue to swim in that assigned lane for the entire summer. Coach Bobby Hammond and Peter Barry will provide a link to the BERK MASTERS GOOGLE FORM.
