Make Some Noise 4 Kids Meet

Oct 19, 2013 (03:00 AM)

Message from the Make Some Noise Meet Host:

"I hope this letter finds you and your athletes well.  As the accident at the NAC was a difficult and scary situation, I would like to commend all the coaches and staff, including our officials and volunteers for their quick action and response with no regard to their own safety. The coaches from all the visiting teams are heroes in our eyes! Everyone reacted in a professional and calm matter, and we can't thank you enough for all that you did."
"The NAC is working very hard at this time to find out what caused the accident. We will wait for a complete and thorough investigation, and will notify you of the outcome.  The pool will be closed for about two to three weeks, but will return safer than ever."
"I did want to pass on to you that ALL money received from the admissions and programs has been donated to 2 worthy causes.  A donation was made to Make Some Noise, a foundation established for pediatric cancer research.  In addition, money was donated to help purchase a laptop for a Neptune High School student who was recently diagnosed with stage four Lymphoma."
