The Chapel Hill Country Club/Ridgewood Sharks is a recreational swim team made up of two clubs, the Chapel Hill Country Club and Ridgewood Pool. Children of Country Club or Ridgewood members are eligible to join. It is one of eight teams in the Chapel Hill Summer Swim League, a seasonal recreational league run by volunteers. Unlike year-round swim programs, summer swim league focuses on the fun and friendships of swimming. It's a way for your children to build confidence in the water, make great friends, and stay active during those hot summer days. Practices and home meets are held at the Country Club pool.

The season begins with practices starting in mid-May and ends with a championship swim meet in mid-July. Feel free to browse the Team Handbook for more information. Gooooo Sharks!

The CHCCR Sharks had a great 2017 summer season! The Sharks completed the season with a thrilling second place at the Championship Meet held at Koury Natatorium July 14 and 15. The Sharks had a 3-3 record going into Champs. They had a great first meet June 3, beating Hillsborough Sports Plex at home. The Sharks stayed strong for their second meet June 7, narrowly losing to the Farm/YMCA at the Farm. The Sharks lost another squeaker June 14 at home against Tennis Club/Exchange. The Sharks won at Hollow Rock June 17. They lost another close one to the undefeated Southern Village/Governors Club team June 28. And finally, they ended the regular season on a high note with a decisive win over Briar Chapel July 1. We look forward to seeing all our Sharks again next summer. GOOOOOO Sharks!
