Holly Park Sharks : Background-image

Dear Swim Team Participants,

We have just received information that Mountain High Swim League (organization that Sharks are affiliated with) is canceling the 2020 Summer Swim League due to COVID-19 concerns. Therefore we will not be running our team this summer. We will be issuing full refunds to all that have signed up. Refunds may take time due to South Suburban Staffing at minimum levels.

South Suburban Parks and Recreation is monitoring the State/Local guidelines in regards to social distancing and opening of our pools. We will be exploring potential alternatives for Swim Team activities and will update you on any offerings that might be available. Please stay up-to-date with all South Suburban facilities and program information by checking www.ssprd.org .

Thank you and Stay Safe and Healthy.

The Holly Park Sharks are committed to developing the technical skills of competitive swimming, strengthening friendships and encouraging our swimmers to strive for their personal best. With this in mind, we urge our swimmers, coaches and parents to commit themselves to practice and meets, and to set high goals, as well as to conduct themselves with courtesy, goodwill and sportsmanship.

The Holly Park Sharks swim team competes in the Mountain Hi Swim League. The league has 25 teams divided into five divisions (A1, A2, B, C and D). The swim team is open to any swimmer 18 and younger who can swim one length of the pool, 25 meters. It is a requirement that all swimmers be able to successfully complete one length of the pool unassisted using one of the four competitive strokes. The age of a swimmer on June 1 determines the age group in which that swimmer will participate.
