Our mission is to develop and refine the skills and knowledge necessary to become competitive swimmers. We wish to provide our swimmers an educational experience that doesn?t forget that summer is about having fun and making friends.

Coaching Staff:

Head Coach: Steve Skinner

Coach Skinner started working at Lake Kandle in the summer of 2000 and served 12 seasons as our manager. He understands our commitment to our members and that everything we do here is about providing a fun, family oriented atmosphere.

Steve Skinner is also a very experienced and talented coach. For the last 12 years, he has been head coach of Clearview Regional High School's Swim Team. During that span, Clearview has grown into one of South Jersey's top teams, making the playoffs 12 years in a row. Under his tutelage, his swimmers have broken the majority of school records and two of his swimmers have become state champions.

Assistant Coaching Staff

Bill Albertson

Coach Albertson has been the head swim coach of Washington Township Highschool since 2000 and in 2011 was named "Gloucester County Times Swim Coach of the Year."

Aside from coaching High School, Coach Albertson has also been a head coach in both local summer leagues and is an instructor for winter and spring swim clinics.

This will be Coach Albertson's fourth season with the Lake Sharks.

Miranda Coughlan

Coach Miranda is a current member of the Rowan University Women's Swim and Dive team. She is going into her junior year of college and is an Elementary Education major. Her first year at Rowan she was named the conference Rookie of the Year and was recently named team captain for the upcoming year. She has taught swim lessons at Rowan University and was an assistant coach for the "Intro to GPAC" group in 2015.

Gabby Moskalow

Coach Gabby is going into her sophomore year, swimming for Rowan University while majoring in Chemical Engineering. Gabby has previously worked at Lake Kandle as a swim lesson instructor and also swam at Clearview for Coach Skinner as a team captain in 2016.

Kiersten Carper
Coach Kiersten started taking swim lessons at an early age. When she was in middle school she started swimming competitively for Nittany Lion Aquatic Club in State College, Pennsylvania. Kiersten was very involved in Special Olympic Swimming where she taught disabled kids how to swim. She also teaches swim lessons at Greater Philadelphia Aquatic Club where she works closely with kids giving lessons. Kiersten is an incoming Freshman at High Point University this fall.

$100 for first swim team family member
$75 for 2nd swim team family member
$40 for each additional swim family member
