Update 5/26/21:
Afternoon practice times have been posted for June 1-15. Please check your practice days/times for ODSL and CSL. Teams will be practicing every other day during the week of June 1-15 in order to accommodate all practice groups. Ww\e will not have any combined practice groups this year.

We have closed Registration for the 2021 season as our programs are currently full.
Update 5/10/21 - Minirays Program Update:
We finally have news to share about the status of our Minirays program, although it is not the news we hoped to share. Unfortunately, we are unable to run our Minirays Program this year due to various reasons (HOA pool allocation, COVID restrictions, and financial constraints being just a few of them). The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in unprecedented challenges in planning this season and we are disappointed that the cancellation of our 2021 Minirays program is one of the results.
Our Director of Registration has reached out to each registered Miniray family to offer some of our Miniray swimmers a limited number of openings in our CSL and ODSL 5-Day Programs.
Over the next week we will reach out to the remaining families on the CSL/ODSL and Minirays Waitlist to give them an update.
Update 5/3/21:
We have some exciting updates about the summer season to share with you! After months of working with our leagues and our HOA, we finally have a practice schedule to share with you. You will notice that a few things have changed for this season. For one, all practices will held at the Riding Center Pool. (Don’t worry, we hope to be at our home pools next summer!). Since we are all at the same pool, practice times may not be what you are used to. We know this may be a big change for some, but we are asking you to be flexible this summer, as we are lucky that our neighborhood is allowing us to have a summer swim team. Coach Ginger will be returning to the CSL program and Coach Tim will be returning to the ODSL program. Team schedules will be posted this week.
Practice times for CSL at Riding Center Pool:
7:15-8:00 a.m. 14-18 year olds
8:15-9:00 a.m. 11-13 year olds
9:15-10:00 a.m. 10 and under
Practice times for ODSL at Riding Center Pool:
10:15-11:00 a.m. 9 and under
11:15-12:00 p.m. 10-12 year olds
12:15-1:00 p.m. 13-18 year olds
Updates on our Mini-Ray program will be coming shortly.
We understand that the practice time may not be convenient for some families. We will still provide a full refund if your child cannot swim during their assigned practice time. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Update 4/14/21
Registration is currently full for the 2021 season. We are anticipating opening more spots but we continue to wait for our leagues and HOA to determine the amount of swimmers we can accommodate. Unfortunately, we have to change the date yet again for new swimmer registration. We understand this is disappointing and ask for your patience as we wait for approval. If you are a current swimmer, we encourage you to join the waitlist. As spots become available, we will pull from the waitlist first. New families, we hope to open registration on May 15th. We'd like to thank everyone for your understanding. COVID guidelines and regulations are constantly changing. We are doing our best to bring you a fun and safe season.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we will be capping registration at 75 swimmers per program. We are hopeful that we will be able to expand our programs as guidelines and restrictions allow. Please make sure you register early to secure your spot. If the program is full, you will be placed on the waitlist. Anyone on the waitlist as of June 1st will be fully refunded.
2021 SEASON INFORMATION
At this point in time, we do not know exactly what our season will look like. Here is what we do know:
1. At this time, there will be no spectators allowed on deck at meets and practices.
2. A limited number of volunteers will be allowed on deck during the meet.
3. All meets will be live streamed via Facebook Live or other program.
4. Swim Meets: Due to the changing guidelines for COVID-19, swim meets will be finalized by May 1.
- ODSL meets for swimmers age 10 and under will be on Saturday mornings. Meets for swimmers age 11 & up will be held on Wednesday nights.
- CSL and Mini-ray meet information will be forthcoming.
5. Swim Practices: Due to the changing guidelines for COVID-19, practice times/locations will be finalized by May 1.
- CSL and ODSL will practice 5 days a week, and practices will last 45 minutes.
- Mini-rays will practice 3 days a week, and practices will last 1 hour.
6. Registrations are 100% refundable if a refund is requested by May 15, two weeks after the final practice/season schedule is published. After May 15, all refunds requests will include a $15 non-refundable fee.
To swim for any program for the South Riding Swim Team you must be a member of good standing of the South Riding Proprietary (You must have a valid South Riding pool pass).
The season runs from late May/early June until late July/early Aug.
The team is open to swimmers aged 5-18 as of June 15th that year.
