Stay tuned and meet our new coach! Spring season begins April 5, 2021. Keep in touch by Facebook Sedona Swordfish or Instagram Sedona Swim Team.

Swimming on a team is all about fitness, friends and fun! Become a Swordfish!

In Sedona we welcome swimmers of all ages and we have available lap time 7 days a week during the Winter session. In fact, unique to our team is a very successful US Masters Swimming program which runs year round at our beautiful outdoor facility!

Age-Group Swimmers (5-18 years of age) can join one of three Swim Training Groups: Rock Shrimp, Silver or Gold. Please refer to the “Training Groups and Masters” tab for a description of each group.

Recreational Team vs USA Team

Sedona Swim Team basically operates two types of swim teams: Recreational and USA.

Recreational - This team is run during the summer. These swimmers are encouraged to swim the Recreation Meets that we have scheduled. Recreation Meets are relaxed and perfect for new swimmers and only occur during the Summer session. This is a great starting point as it is fun for the swimmer and a great introduction to meets.

USA Swimming – USA Swimming is the governing body over all registered USA Teams, including the Olympic Swim Team. Our USA team practices all year, at least 3- 5 days a week, outdoors in the Sedona Community pool. They do at least one meet every month throughout Arizona. As a parent it requires commitment, but it can be very rewarding. If your child desires to be on the USA Team, contact your coach for more information.

To swim USA Swimming you must be a member of USA Swimming. SST can help with USA membership sign-up or renewal and bill directly to your account. A Flex pass, at a reduced rate, is offered which allows the swimmer to swim 2 USA meets per year. This membership can be upgraded to a year round membership by contacting your coach. Rock Shrimp may try out USA Swimming by purchasing a flex pass for $20. Ask your coach for details. The swimmer must be registered with USA Swimming 2 weeks prior to a meet.
