The Morgan County Marlins is a non-profit USAS registered swim team operating out of the Morgan County Aquatic Center and owned by the Morgan County Recreation Department. We believe that swimming is an individual sport, where athletes strive to reach improvement in themselves over placement in competition. In other words, hard work and peak performance is the goal; winning is just a side effect of that goal.

We place a strong emphasis on learning proper strokes, and ask that anyone interested in participating on our swim team take our Stroke Clinic prior to registering. Once swimmers have learned the strokes, we can work on endurance and speed through interval training.

Though success in the pool is important, we also aim to teach sportsmanship and help to develop good moral character. We encourage our swimmers to develop a strong work ethic, be committed to self improvement, and display respect for others. We invite you to come observe a practice and see what we're all about. We look forward to seeing you in the pool!
