Updates as of January 18, 2022: Meet Info for Region Meets (both HS and MS) have been posted on the buttons above. Lists of registered MS and HS teams have been finalized.
Notes from MTHSSA President Josh Tinley (12/2/21):
I hope everyone's season is off to a good start. I just wanted to touch base on a few things this week:
REGISTRATIONS: First, if you didn't get your registration fee postmarked yesterday, don't worry. We're extending the deadline until Friday December 10. If you already sent in a check with the late fee, that extra $25 will be credited to your payment next season.
For those who are waiting on a W-9, we will further extend the deadline as needed to make sure that you have the proper documentation for your bookkeeper and that your bookkeeper has time to cut a check.
That said, we also know that there are a lot of new coaches out there, some of whom may not be receiving these e-mails. When you see or communicate with new coaches, make sure they know about the online registration and $2-per-swimmer registration fee.
One last thing: Paying the registration fee is a requirement for eligibility at the high school MTHSSA Regional meet and middle school MTHSSA Championship meet. If an athlete does not belong to a team that has registered and paid s/he will only be allowed to participate as an exhibition swimmer.
REQUIRED ONLINE TRAININGS: Coaches, make sure you have completed the required online trainings on concussions and sudden cardiac arrest. You can access those courses at the TISCA website, here: https://www.teamunify.com/TabGeneric.jsp?_tabid_=206136&team=hstisca
TWITTER: Whenever you post scores, pictures, or accomplishments to your team Twitter accounts, tag @MTHSSAswim so that we can retweet you (and so we can make sure to follow you if we aren't following already). The more we can promote one another on social media, the better.
