Welcome to Seacoast Swim Club in Cumberland, Maine

Seacoast Swim Club is a co-ed team established in 1973 for the purpose of introducing competitive swimming to local school age children. Seacoast continues to develop and inspire swimmers under Coaches AJ Rog, Emily Wells, Rob Hale, Brenda Bacall, David Tauwala, and Fran Martelle.

Seacoast swims year round with flexible options throughout the 4 seasons. Practices take place weekday afternoons and are comprised of two divisions: Stroke School and the Competitive Groups. Both divisions have three groups with movement criteria's that are primarily based on the swimmer displaying correct stroke mechanics along with other skills in order to move up to the next level. Along with practice, swimmers are challenged in local, state, regional and national competitions.

All of our coaches, as members of USA Swimming, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States.
