The Reedley Marlins Swim Team is an independent facet of the recreational water program provided within the Reedley area. Our primary aim is the development of personal skills and goals through the positive experience of competitive swimming, within guidelines set forth by the Central Valley Recreational Swim League (CVRSL). Reedley Marlins will provide a format for each swimmer to set personal goals, to work toward those goals, and to find a sense of satisfaction through the team process, regardless of individual outcome. The most important goal for each swimmer is to do his or her best!
The Marlins Swim Club was organized in 1978 by a group of parents who felt only a parent group could assume the many responsibilities associated with a successful swim program. The Marlins Board is charged in the bylaws with promoting swimming in Reedley and to that end, they have structured activities to include:
Maintaining team records
Distributing team awards
Operating home meets
Distributing Team suits
Parent participation from every family is needed in order to manage these activities well and have a successful program.
Welcome to the Reedley Marlins Electronic Registration platform for our upcoming swim season! We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration. The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your private account that will enable you easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your contact information, and more.
There will be multiple swim practice sessions due to covid guidelines. Sessions will be assigned to swimmers and families once numbers are finalized before the first day of practice. Practices will run Monday - Friday, times will vary. The first practice is set for May 3, 2021. Cost: 100.00/swimmer, $10.00 sibling discount.
Summer Swim Meets will depend on State, County, SUSD, and CVRSL guidelines. Guidelines are constantly changing and we will not know until Mid May.
