Our team is a summer swim team offering coaching and technique instruction for ages 5-18. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. We want to have fun, learn to swim and encourage every family to enjoy family time and summer swimming!

Registration for the 2020 summer season will begin on April 1, 2020.
**SUMMER 2020 UPDATE: Lititz Springs Swim Team will NOT host any sort of camp/clinic/practice this summer. We encourage our swimmers to check out the Lititz Rec Center's competitive swimming clinic options for this summer. We will see you in 2021! Stay safe and healthy, Waverunners!**

Beginning swimmers who are 10 and under must be able to swim the freestyle stroke unassisted for the length of the pool.

Swimmers 11 and over must be able to swim two lengths with rhythmic breathing.

*Returning for 2020: Mini Waverunners!
Mini Waverunners are swimmers between the ages of 4 and 10 who aren't quite ready for the full team experience, but have basic skills they want to improve. For a discounted rate, these swimmers receive developmental instruction 3 times per week.

To join the Mini Waverunner program, swimmers must:
- Be comfortable in water over their head.
- Be able to submerge their eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Swim at least five feet without support.

Our goal is for each Mini Waverunner to be ready to swim the entire length of the pool by the last dual meet, ?graduate? the program at the end of the summer, and move up to the swim team the following season.

Children who can swim the entire length of the pool with minimal support or stopping at the beginning of the season should sign up for the regular team, even if they are not able to commit to daily practice or every meet.

Swimmers who excel early on in the program may join the regular team at a prorated cost in order to participate in daily practices and meets for the remainder of the season.

Pre-season clinics for new and beginning swimmers (10 and under) will be held at the Lititz Rec Center on Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21 (times TBA).

Team practice starts after school the week of May 26th. Below are the practice times by age. These are held outdoors at the Lititz Springs Pool, and run through the last day of school (no practice on Saturday or Sunday). Once school is out, practice shifts to morning.
