Welcome to the Stingrays season 2019! We know some families have questions about the upcoming season so here is some available information. We are in Division H this year. Details about registration dates, practice times, junior coach applications, team gear, etc. will be forthcoming, so please be patient!

We anticipate team registration on this website to begin in April 2019 and end late May 2019.

1. Team practice starts Tuesday, May 28th
2. Pre-team (8 and under swimmers who can swim half the length of the pool, but cannot yet swim the full length of the pool) practice starts Monday, June 17
3. Time trials on Saturday morning, June 8
4. A meets will be held on five consecutive Saturdays beginning on June 15 (schedule, locations yet to be published)
5. The first of four B meets will be on Wednesday, June 12.
6. Regular swim team meet season runs from May 28 to July 13
7. Team members who qualify for Divisionals will practice from July 15 through July 19.
8. MCSL Divisional Championships, for those who qualify, on July 20
9. The team end of season party for all swimmers and their families (regular team, pre-team and swimmers from divisionals) will be on the evening of Saturday, July 20

Please email questions to Stingraysareps@gmail.com but know that we will regularly update this site as dates, times, details become available. We have not yet updated the Stingrays handbook (available on this website) but a lot of the information in it is pretty stable and does not change much year to year except for actual dates and times and the names/contact information of team reps and coaches.

For newcomer families especially, please don't get stressed about the process. The purpose of the team is for children to be able to compete in a friendly neighborhood environment, to develop their swimming skills, and to foster good sportsmanship and understand the value of teamwork. The coaching staff will help you figure out if your child should be on the regular team, if they should be on pre-team, and how to adjust or change things if they have a change of heart. It's summer swimming!

Go stingrays!
