Wildcat Ridge Tigersharks :

Letter from Coach Maddie:

Hello Tigershark Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that we will not be having a swim season this year. Mountain High Swim League has decided to make the call. This decision has not been has not taken lightly, and everyone involved is heartbroken. The Tri-County Health Department will not make a ruling on youth sports until May 29th, and MHSL felt as though that was too long to wait for a decision.

Everyone who has already registered will be getting a full refund. I am sorry to those of you who have already purchased swimsuits, but rest assured that there will be flexibility with team suits for next summer!

I am so sorry to be the bearer of even more bad news. I wish from the bottom of my heart that there was something I could do to change this. I know that this is such a sad unprecedented time, but I encourage all of you to keep your chins up, and know that we are all in this together, and we will get through it!

I hope to see you all next summer, please know that you all are always on my mind and on my heart.

~ Coach Maddie

Mountain High Swim League Update:

COVID-19 Update 4

To all our Wonderful MHSL Delegates, Coaches, Parents and Swimmers
As you are all aware, we have recently seen a historic health situation occur in our society. This has caused us to make some tough decisions. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the MHSL Board decided to cancel all meets, practices and team activities for the 2020 season. This was not a decision easily made and many factors were considered, including the difficulties of social distancing under the Safer At Home policies.
Due to the cancelation having no precedence, the MHSL Board will meet one more time next Tuesday to discuss many different factors that will affect this year and next, including a final meeting of the delegates later on this year.
All required meetings, virtual and otherwise, for scorekeeping, officiating, and Clerk of Course training have been cancelled. Coaches are no longer required to turn in Concussion certificates and teams will need to refund all monies previously collected for this season. In addition, our liability policy and Certificates of Insurance are no longer valid.
Thank you for all that you do. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these decisions.

Thank you
Wil McCammish
MHSL President
